Event: "Health is wealth"

Whoever said "Dieting" and "Starving" are synonyms??? Unfortunately it is a preconceived notion that our society has and it is reflecting badly on our generation and the generations to come. Dieting does not mean:

·                     starving
·                     eating rabbit food
·                     it is for a short while - It should be a part of your lifestyle.. Forever!!
·                     giving up on your favorite foods for ever
·                     eating tasteless.. flavorless food

There now that I busted some myths about dieting.. lets get down to business. I chose the period September 15, 2011 - October 15, 2011 as a "Balance diet month" to promote disciplined eating habits and a healthy lifestyle. This is definitely the need of the hour. I am announcing the event "Health is wealth" where I request one and all to contribute your favorite healthy recipes that you feel is:

·                     low in calories
·                     has a lot of nutrient value
·                     is balanced
·                     and recipes that you make by substituting high calorie ingredients with healthier options
·                     your favorite exercise (optional)

Am sure with all your recipes, coupled with exercise we can surely promote weight loss and healthy living.

Here are the guidelines for the event:

·               Any method of cooking is allowed

·               Both Vegetarian as well as Non vegetarian entries are welcome
